John_drummer
Not my finest work but I think I’m done with this now. Hasegawa 1/48 A-7D Corsair II. mostly OOB but some details in the cockpit from Aires, Eduard. no ordnance in the kit other than the 2 AIM-9 Sidewinders you see here; the rest of the load from US Ordnance Set 1 by AMK. paints by AK Interactive. Decals by Furball Aero-Design, this is A-7D 71-0354 based at Korat RTAFB in June 1973 more here: https://imgur.com/gallery/jfwV8On don’t look too closely at the Mk82 bombs, I forgot to fill the holes before painting 🙄 all comments welcome Edited March 1, 2021 by John_drummer
Plasticbasher
Nice SLUF, I like it! The Hasegawa kit is very nice if lacking in weapons
John_drummer
Thanks, glad you like it. I had a right ‘mare with this one, starting with the ill-advised choice of plasticine as my masking material. I had to strip it right back to the plastic & start again, this time using Mig’s Camouflage Masking Putty. Paints - Ammo by Mig i do like the SEA camouflage pattern from the late 60s/early 70s. looking for an F-4E from the same period in 1/48, maybe 1/72 once I get my eyes fixed. Probably an F-105 too Edited March 1, 2021 by John_drummer
