Hi all, 2nd post so be gentle.

Im after a bit of advise/masking tip. I'm currently in the early stages of building a kit i've had for quite a while. A Revell Airbus A350-900 in First Flight Livery.

I need to mask off the all windows/doors etc. What is the best way to do this?

Is it worth the £15 for a mask set?
Is liquid mask a viable option, or will it bleed? (Never used it, buthave bought some)

I realise what ever masking i'm doing, it's going to be time comsuming, but what is the best way to tackle it.

Thanks in advance.

Making some assumptions

1. that there is clear plastic glued in to represent the window glazing

2. you intend to spray the white paint

Needed;  a cocktail stick and PVA glue

Use the cocktail stick to put a drop of PVA glue into each window and use the cocktail stick to move the glue to the edges of the window. Do all the windows, then start at the beginning again and do a second coat. After painting the PVA can be peeled off easily.

Thank You. That was the plan yes. However currently the windows aren't in, but yes want to spray the white.
I would like to close the fuselage up which will require the clear plastic window glueing in place.

PVA glue it is then.

If you've not assembled yet; many modellers just leave out the clear plastic or if their decals are marked with the windows on them they put the clear plastic in place then add fillers and smooth the fuselage down, spray paint and apply the decals
