“Budget” PE bending tool recommendations

Hi. Can anyone recommend a good but reasonably priced PE bending tool for a PE noob on a budget? 1/35 AFV is the format. Thanks.

I use a steel rule, a pair of tweezers and a scalpel blade, you can't get much cheaper.

Even as a retailer, for what they are I think Photo-Etch benders are a rip off !

TVM is right. It is an expensive tool and I think you have to bite the bullet and splash out more than you want. But saying that they won't be getting too heavy a workload so they should last you for a very long time. Meng have just recently announced their own one, but it is still over £40. RP Toolz are probably the best budget priced.

You can make one yourself.

I normally don't recommend anything that I haven't done already but I have already bought the steel ruler and prepared the wooden base so it's a w.i.p.

Thanx, it didn't show up in the preview, tried several methods but only saw code. Shouldn't be affected by linux or firefox for that matter. If I'll manage to bypass my procrastination tendencies I'll post the bender here. Jnunu and TVM have a valid point concerning the price. Although PE can add great detail to the model I don't really enjoy working with it but maybe that will change.
