Hazzard Tow Truck - finished!

Recommended Posts

After several years of scratchbuilding, finally finished! Pretty much everything after the cab is scratchbuilt, plus the entire chassis was rebuilt and the wheel base extended.  The build thread is here: https://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/235089216-hazzard-tow-truck/

I get the impression from your build thread that at least half of those years were spent watching episodes of Dukes of Hazzard in the name of 'research' :)

Excellent end result though, you'd never guess that it was substantially scratchbuilt.

That is one very good looking truck!

It could do with an orange Charger flying over the top of  it. Other than that, it's pretty much perfect.

Tony.

Thank you! You mean like this one?

Superb! That engine bay is a masterpiece.

I love the air horns. I have a set on my Chevy Suburban, they play La Cucaracha. Cheezy as hell, but a real grin, especially when they drop a note now and then.

Kind of you to say, thank you!  Having La Cucaracha playing must be quite the novelty there! :)
