neil5208
3rd finish for year is Academy's Ju87G2 Kanonenvogel Stuka, First Stuka I have built since returning to modelling so at least 35 years after the Matchbox one. Built out of the box less the the Quick Boost resin propeller as the kits prop appears to be for the B2. For the price its a nice kit which builds easily with a small amount of filler, the cockpit has good detail for the scale as do the 37mm Bord kanone. The decals went on well with some microsol although the swastika's is from an Eduard sheet for Fw190. Painted primarily with Mr Colour and some Tamiya acrylics. Light oil panel line wash and black powder for the exhaust staining. This one was done in 6 weeks in conjunction with the 4 other kits in progress, WIP is here. As usual all comments welcome. FalkeEins
very neatly built and finished Kanonenvogel never really understood the point of taking out AFVs 'individually' when they were being churned out in their hundreds every week

72modeler
Wow- that is one gorgeous G-2! The markings look like they were painted on. You should be proud of this one. First Academy Stuka I can recall seeing built, and you have really set the bar high for the rest of us! Mike

opus999
Wow! That looks great! My first glue-together build at 8 years old was a Revell Ju-87G-2. I'd love to do another. Yours is inspiring me to go look for a kit now...
