Thanks Mark.

Glad to be back.

My airbrush finger was twitching for the whole week.

Cheers,

Alistair

Yes Chris the getting up at 04:15 is OK but the falling asleep eating dinner is the tricky bit.

Cheers,

Alistair

Good to see you back Alistair. And by the way, one man's shoddy is another's exquisite.

Craig.

Thanks Craig,

Glad to be back.

I'm always critical about my own stuff as I've seen it through high magnification whilst doing it. :violin:

Try smearing some vaseline on your optivisor lens. I think you'll be impressed by the improvement to your skills.

All looks OK from here Alistair.

Glad the you passed the test too.

Simon.

Thanks Simon.

It was a relief for me. First trip abroad since the madness started and was a bit concerned as the plane was full both ways.

Cheers,

Alistair

Off to see Dune tonight.

Trying for the second time as the Unlimited Screening in Falkirk was cancelled when the system broke just after the Censor screen.

Thanks for looking.

Alistair

Simon.

Thanks Simon,

Back at work soon so don't think that will be happening, but I can try.

Built a couple of those small pnies.. :) Liked them but I snapped the control stick off both! A common problem, it seems, atleast for ham fisted ones.. ;)

great job so far!

Thanks so much.

I broke the joystick on the first one of these I built and have taken them off the sprue with a razor saw since.

Didn't stop me breaking the joystick on this one when I pulled it off of the blue tack it was stuck in for painting.

Some CA and the position means the break is hidden.

Alistair

Oh yeah! Forgot that Airfix has that canopy bottom separate from the clear parts! Cannot remember if I like it or not.. ;)

Looking good though!

Thanks so much.

I got some colour on these bits.

Paints used were Colourcoats Zinc Chromate Green, RLM 76 and Alclad Duraluminium.

The RLM 76 is for the inside of the engine cone just now the rest will be smoothed out during the build.

Thanks for looking
