Roland Pulfrew
I could be in with a Hawker Siddeley Nimrod, particularly if the Recce GB proposal does not get through the Bunfight. Got to back the right horses if I'm ever going to get this thing built!!
Col.
Sopwith and Hawker products make up a lot of my stash so count on my support

ModelingEdmontonian
Always up for a GB that lets me build a Hurricane!
81-er
If I'm reading the eligability right, I think my eligable kits would be a Hawker Hunter F6, Hawker Siddeley Hawk T1, and my Vulcan B2. Is that right? If so, I'm sure I can join in James

If so, I'm sure I can join in Absolutely, Sopwith basically declared bankruptcy, gave its creditors a 1:1 payoff then reopened in 1920 as Hawker and bought up all the war surplus Sopwith parts and assets. So in essence Hawker is ( was ?) Sopwith. They also subsequently bought Siddely who owned Avro. So the Vulcan definitely qualifies. MARADER
I understand the associations of aviation firms of Great Britain badly. Interesting me - the Sea Vixen befits?

I’m going to say yes, it’s first flight was 1951 which predates Hawkers acquisition of De Havilland in 1952, however the type wasn’t entered into service till 1959.

Marklo
Although I have many Sopwiths in my collection there are still meant to build, I have a Snipe, a Camel, a comic and a 1 1/2 strutter depending on this GB as well as a pair or Gladiators. Ray S
Don't forget to vote for this one - there are plenty of options available! When it gets through, a scratchbuild is my plan. Ray
