Thanks Giorgio, Adrian, Roger, Bill and Steve - kind of you all :)

In the RFI now:

More cursing this morning fitting the final PE - the main step:

Pilot's step and pitot:

Note the tiny whisker above the pitot.

Can you see it?

I know…

During the RFI shots she developed a blade droop.

hendie was right - even the Araldite wasn't enough.

My bodge is to support the droopy blades and squidge some CA in the rotor head:

Will that work?

Hopefully, fingers crossed :fingerscrossed:

Beautiful finish.

Hope you get the droop sorted.

Off to the RFI.

Glad to know the CA flooding worked - what a choppers collection you have there!

Ciao

Thanks Giorgio :)

Not on the ceiling, taking space in the cabinet and all 'interesting' builds.

We all know who to blame don't we :D

Looking forward to big beasts getting built!

this looks fantastic, a really nice finish, and that rotor head looks the business.

Rob

Thanks Rob :)

I blame you, partly, for making me envious with your great build of the Airfix kit. I hope I can get close to your great result.

Thanks to everyone as usual for their support, wisdom and companionship during this one.

On to the next:

TWO Revell Fortresses.

Oh joy…

Terrific build, Ced.  Really enjoyed following this and the result is a tribute to your perseverance.

Thanks Andy :)

Perseverance or stubbornness, not sure which!

The printer acquisition has brought the restart of my Sea King infinitesimally closer, since I think it’s the most likely solution to the rotor head challenge.  But don’t get excited yet; 2 P-51s, a P-38 and an aircraft carrier to do first...

Thanks chaps! :)

Crisp do let us know how you're getting on with the printer.

If the software and design process is within the capabilities of normal man I may be further tempted…
