Spitfire Mk.Vc Upgrade Set, Exhausts & Wheels (for Airfix kit)

The new Spitfire Vc is a great one in this scale, now Eduard are along with a few update sets for the kit

 

Update Set (73728)

This set comprises two sheets of PE, one of which is nickel-plated and painted, the other bare brass.  The first item is a revamp of the kits instrument panel , this is three part affair with the front of the bulkhead below the panel all in one, and an additional part to fit on top. Still in the cockpit there are new parts for the sides, a new reflector gun sight,  parts to upgrade the seat, along with new seatbelts, seat armour; and a new armoured head rest.  One of the main areas for the wings are new flaps, and the flap areas in the wings. There is a new grill for the chin intake, and the main wing intake. There is a new canopy mirror, rear fuselage access panel, and control horns for the rudder. There are new brake lines and main door covers for the undercarriage. 

 

 

 

Exhausts Stacks (672250)

This set gives replacement resin exhaust for the three stack type, casting with the hollow ends is first rate.

 

 

Wheels (672249)

These are 5 spoke wheels. The tail wheel is all moulded as one with its strut. A set of masks for the wheels is included as well.

 

 

 

 

Conclusion

The detail added with these sets will doubtless set your model apart from the rest, and you can get any or all sets depending on your area of focus.
