Tamiya Brachiosaurs Diorama in 1/35

Recommended Posts

Completed last year as a diorama project, here are 7 of the Tamiya 1/35 scale educational box sets of their Brachiosaur and baby models. I've added a number of additional babies to the model. With no idea what colour these beasts would have looked like, I chose to use a few flamboyant bright colours for the males and basic reptilian shades for their ladies. The tree is from the CollectA Tree Series and added really only for scale purposes.

Superb job. A lot of work must have gone into that and really like how you've varied the colours on  each of the dino's. Truly worthy of a place in a museum and i imagine its quite a size too! 👍

Steve

That's a lovely dio.  My son used to be dino obsessed, and he's here now appreciating it over my shoulder :) We need a can of beans or a banan for scale though.  Looks BIG

Thank you _ I am glad your son is enjoying it. The base is 6 foot long!

thank you. No 2 kits are the same pose. Tamiya provide 2 jaw options and 2 front leg pose options however I had to rework, cut and shut a few of the limbs and do some neck surgery on a few of the Brachs to get the end result.
