WarhammerAdjacent
Hi all, a thought you might like to see my latest finished project; a Sherman Firefly of A Sqn, the East Riding Yeomanry at some point soon after D-Day. This is the RFM kit with Star decals. Overall I’m pretty happy, the sprockets are wrong but I can live with that. I’ve been back into the hobby since May ish after not touching a kit since I was 17 (which is a while ago). I think my main area to work on is PE application and also slowing down a bit, paying a little more attention to detail in places. The base is temporary, I’m working on a diorama hence the slightly weird angle of the front wheels and the lack of antennae (I don’t want to end up knocking them off whilst fitting it into the dio). Anyway, enjoy. 30
fatfingers
Very nicely done. I really like British Shermans with big bright turret numbers. Great build and finish 👍 Regards, Steve
M3talpig
Got to agree with Mr Fingers above .....and add that you really have done a lovely job with the weathering on that .....must admit i'm chomping at the bit to do a Firefly and more so when i see beautiful renditions like this.
Kingsman
Looking good. Sprockets wore in use and became hooked, so the toothed rings might have been replaced. Don't worry about it.

Bullbasket
Excellent build. You can never have too many Shermans. John.

Too true, I need a III in Normandy next, then one in North Africa, then a Grant for a bit of variety.

APA
Excellent stuff, love it and yes those big bright numbers on british AFV 's look really cool. Will do a similar thing hopefully 🤔 A
WarhammerAdjacent
Thanks all. The Northamptonshire Yeomanry markings in the box are red and would look really striking I think. Not sure I’d want them painted on my vehicle in combat though.
