Recommended Posts

First of 2021 is Finished.

Very enjoyable build. An excellent model kit from

Kineticmodel

- The Harrier GR.3 1/48 scale has an awesome fit, nice details, and its an Icon of the Aviation History. Love to have him on my Collection...

Paint job with Ammo and Lifecolor acrylics.

The aircraft presented is from RAF 4th Squadron, Home Based at RAF Gütersloh, West Germany, 1992.

Lovely result. Does the Kinetic kit have the parts for the SHAR FRS1?

If I'm understanding your question correctly, no the Kinetic GR Mk.3 kits only shares some common sprues with their Sea Harrier kits, for instance the wings and stores.

@POMPEO  excellent work and a very eyecatching droptank.

Really good paint job looks most convincing!

Slight criticism, to make things better, you need to remove the Royal Navy  No 7 2inch rocket pods that were only fitted to GR3 for the Falklands war, and replace them with the correct 68mm M155 SNEB rocket pods the RAF used.

Oh and by the way there has never been a "4th" Squadron in the RAF  its Number 4 (AC) squadron RAF. The RAF does not use  first second or third designations for its units. 😎

Hello Buddy,

Kinetic Models have a box for FRS.1. On this box we have some parts shared between Gr3, FA.2 and T.4

;)
