1/72 apache AH-64D kit questions

Good evening folks

I have had in my stash a set of international apache decals that came with extras including skis for a Japanese and pods for a Dutch chopper and wondered a couple of things if anyone can help.

1) what is the best 1/72 kit to do a dutch AH-64D?

2) does the kit come with options to remove the radar and have the top part/antenna?

any help would be mutch appreciated. 🙂

The best AH-64D in the scale is the new(ish) tool Academy. They have the early and late, plus a forthcoming JGSDF boxing. Someone more knowledgeable with Dutch machines will know which would be more appropriate.

Cheers!

Thanks perdu. So no italeris got you. 🙂

I had to invent a whole method of making the tail rotor sit properly amongst hundreds of other things on mine.

They just said to glue it straight to the tail with no working parts to look like the back of any helicopter

That

gets stuck on that

Nothing to make the blades rotate or vary in pitch.

I think Corgi probably made a better job on a toy

Just my opinion of course

Another swerve for the Italeri kit

I won mine in a model-show tombola,   so it was either built it or burn it.

Worse - if you're after a good Apache, so another swerve for the Mirage Hobby kit.

No interior, so I blacked out the cockpit for that sinister look.
