jenko
Latest off the bench and into the display cabinet, is the Tamiya offering of the Grumman Wildcat. Without major modification the only FAA variant that can be made is the Mk. IV. This one is in the markings of Lt. N.C. Dimes RNZNVR while aboard HMS Biter 16th. Feb. 1944 when he shared half a kill on a Ju290. Markings are from the spare box. Do wish someone would do a family of these as it's a great little aircraft to model. Please feel free to comment etc. Thanks for taking the time to look Dick

Gatesy64
Nice, might have to build another of those. East Kent Scale Modellers? I’ll have to look you up. I’m in Canterbury. I build FAA in 1/48. Steve
Britman
Very nice Dick. Your quite right about the Wildcat family although I would prefer to 72nd myself. Keith
mick b
Very nice Dick and curiously enough I am doing the Airfix 72nd Mark IV as the other half of the pair that shot down the Ju290 😁 Hobby Boss did a limited range of 48th Wildcats but they still had errors I believe.
