Tamiya 1/48 Lancaster

Recommended Posts

A kit I've wanted to build for years and I managed to find one reasonably priced on Ebay. Built with a few extras from Eduard; masks, interior etc. and decals from Xtradecal. An excellent kit despite its vintage with mostly great fit.  Finished as EE136 "WS-R" Spirit of Russia of 9Sqn RAF with Hataka red range range acrylics.

Now to find somewhere to put it...

Lovely Lanc....one to be really proud of!

I have one in the stash with loads of aftermarket but one thing that worries me are the raised panel lines. How do you sand the fuselage seam without destroying all that lovely detail?

Easy , just put masking tape either side of the join. :like:
