28ZComeback Posted February 10, 2021 Share Posted February 10, 2021 Hello gang, I am interested in building a photo reconnaissance version of the P-43 and was wondering if a dedicated photo recce version can be obtained with either the early version offering or the Chinese boxing? I understand that the first P-43’s were converted in the field with cameras but want to produce a “C” version. Thank you for any suggestions or response. Admiral Puff Posted February 10, 2021 Share Posted February 10, 2021 Don't know about that boxing, but maybe you should await the release of the one with the RAAF markings - the Australian aircraft were definitely set up and used for PR duties. ReccePhreak Posted April 10, 2021 Share Posted April 10, 2021 I just KNEW if I procrastinated long enough on converting my Classic Airframes P-43 into an RAAF recce P-43, that someone would come out with a kit of one!
