Terry1954
Looks really good Stuart. That sort of detail in this scale will really lift it and set it apart. Have you firmed up on a North Africa finish? That would suit this one well. Maybe even a Caunter scheme to test your masking skills! To answer the question, the Bishop didn't appear until 1942, making it post Caunter as that was 1940-1941. The kit offers 3 options; one in Oct '42 at 2nd El Alamein and is all 'sand', the other two are overall dark green and are Tunisia/ Italy '43. I'm leaning toward a desert scheme as its replacement, the M7 Priest and Sexton are going to be green, leaving the Deacon for a possible earlier scheme. keefr22
Some really neat interior detail work there Stuart, very nice indeed! Keith
Courageous
Out with the rattle cans... Interior parts are primed with my go to Halford's grey primer and coated with white, also from a rattle can. Let them dry before moving onto the interior detail painting, not that there is much. Time to think about the tracks. Stuart
Courageous
SWMBO insisted that I should get more 'festive' , so much of my time has been spent doing exactly that . Anyways... Going desert, so exterior painted with AK Light Stone (RC040). Stuart
Bullbasket
You're doing a damned fine job on that Stuart. I'm just doing a catch up, and I have to say that the images belie the diminutive size of the model. Nice work. John.

The Bishop with its big back doors was just shouting to have its doors opened and innards detailed. Quite enjoyable most of the time, with the occasional bit of frustration. Courageous
Running gear and tracks added. I also added the side skirts which when fitted I thought they were overly thick, should've spotted this earlier and replaced them with brass sheet, ho-hum...next time. A bit of touching up of the paint work and we'll be heading for glossing before decals. Stuart
adolfocaetanonetto
Link the tracks, one by one!!!!!!!!!!! Oh Lord! In Brazil we call this "work for prisioners" (serviço de preso, in portuguese). I had thrown away in the second piece!!! .

Varnished and a few decals added. Varnished again to seal decals, then pin washes applied. I did fit the external fuel tank but then I found that I couldn't fit the gun housing correctly, so off came the fuel tank. The gun housing was then fitted but then the fuel tank supports needed some rework and the little damage to the paint will need to be sorted. Not far now. Courageous
Calling this done. Just needs to be put onto its base with a couple of figures. RFI here: Stuart
