Kitkent
Another stash reduction job here- this is a Racing 43 metal kit,it seems pretty straightforward but it has a ton of fiddly photo etch to deal with. All that metal stuff is provided and then they forgot the p/e wipers and tow hooks! I forgot the wipers as well in the end....Also showing below is another of the same kit, different colours, this one is more colourful being bright red with the swirly pattern you can see on the decal sheet. I always wanted one of these cars as this one raced at Brands Hatch in 1980. Hope you all like,Chris.
klubman01
Very nice. The Martini colours always look good. Trevor

RabRoberts
Nice one Chris. There's something special about a Lancia in Martini livery, I know what you mean about the fiddly photo-etch, but I do like the heft of the all metal R43 kits, you'll never run out of attractive paper weights. I've got an 037, an S4 and an Integrale in the stash, all in Martini colours to build, so many kits, so little time. Cheers - Rab.
Kitkent
Thanks Trevor,Vesa and Rab. I like Racing 43 and Meri kits,I think it's the same person? The 2nd.metal kit I ever made in about 1984 was the Meri Lancia 037, and its very overdue a restoration project now! I have a 1/24 Racing 43 Stratos metal kit somewhere as well.............Chris. Natter
43rd? Wow, it looks larger scale than that. Betas did look good in that short time between build and complete oxidation.

Then again, it was raining at the time so.... 1
