Corvi Posted September 17, 2021 Posted September 17, 2021 IT looks like it will be 2022-2023 timeline I contacted PR about it they said it will be next after the SK 105 which I believe they are working on now?!?! I want a Sea Venom now too..>Esp. the crazy prices people are asking for the CA kit. over 300$ US. I figure the built to unbuilt ratio for CA Sea Venoms about 8-1.....8 kits sitting in a closet versus one actually being built. Nobody is willing to part with one even if they dont intend to build it. Like getting wine you never going to drink.. never understood that mentality.. Sorry ! I am looking for either a CA kit or the Aeroclub kit But no joy on either!! BTW- IF someone want to sell on at a reasonable price it will get built I can even chronicle it on BM & HS. AND I will still get the PR kit when it comes out. Love me some Sea VEenoms !!! Steve, 2

wellsprop Posted October 31, 2021 Posted October 31, 2021 Woah, I missed the 3D prints, can't wait for this!
Admiral Puff Posted October 31, 2021 Posted October 31, 2021 Well, that looks like a big improvement on the CA kit I'm just finishing ...
wellsprop Posted December 26, 2021 Posted December 26, 2021 I gave them a nudge on Facebook and they said it's still in work. Hopefully we see something soon 2
Homebee Posted April 17, 2022 Author Posted April 17, 2022 Fresh news and pics Source: https://plasticfantastique.com/uncategorized/news-from-pilot-replicas/ Quote (...) Another kit that's been in the makings for some time now is the de Havilland Venom (J 33 in Sweden). This is more down the line and Cleas told me that he also have a two-seater Vampire in the works and this seems to be closer as there was a 3D printed mock-up on the table. These are definitively two kits that are in the makings though. (...) A mock up of the coming Vampire (J 28) two seater. V.P. 4
Bell209 Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 Now that my CA T.35 is finished, I'm sure this kit will be released shortly! 1 2
Bjorn Posted August 24, 2022 Posted August 24, 2022 (edited) I just heard that release for this one is getting closer. As mentioned, first the SK 60/Saab 105 will be released, but this one is not far away after that. No release date is set, but my guess is that it will be released in 2023. Our SK60 could finally be released for sale. The welcome to the market was absolutely fantastic with many very nice magazine reports praising it, to our delight. Now we are aiming for 2023 and a new plastic model year that will be just as amazing, We are releasing a very nice plastic model that is hugely anticipated, the 2-seater Vampire in 1/48 scale, Wow! The only thing that can make the year 2023 better is for the crappy Russians who are now on Ukrainian soil to leave and go home and sort out what is theirs and what isn't. We wish you all (NB, does NOT apply to Russians and Putler friends) a really good end to 2022 and a fantastic 2023 Best Christmas greetings Pilot-Replicas V.P. 6

Admiral Puff Posted February 11, 2023 Posted February 11, 2023 Oh YUM!! I can see rat roundels on at least one ... 2
general melchett Posted February 12, 2023 Posted February 12, 2023 Great to see this one getting closer...I've been hoping for a quality 1/48th twin-seater for donkey's years. Feel a Vintage Pair T.11 coming on. 2
Homebee Posted February 12, 2023 Author Posted February 12, 2023 (edited) thank you Bjorn ! And also - nearly unoticed - in the image background is a render from a Jeep J20 Gladiator (resin?) kit project. In the early 80's the Swedish Airforce ordered 450 Jeep SJ to be rebuilt and locally designated J20 to manage aircraft and clear the runways. V.P. Edited February 12, 2023 by Homebee 9

Bjorn Posted February 16, 2023 Posted February 16, 2023 I asked PR about release date, and if no unpleasant surprises are delaying the production, release will be early Summer 2023. 2
Christer A Posted February 16, 2023 Posted February 16, 2023 The helicopter and Skyraider in the background of the rendered pictures above are also interesting. PR responses were a lot of nudge nudge, wink wink. 1
