Spitfire 123
Hi all, I need help with ideas for a diorama for zvezda's 1/72 IS-2. I don't really want it to be in berlin though, I want to do something different. I also want to make the diorama tall, so I was thinking maybe I could have a bridge involved. Another option would be to do it in Karelia, on the finnish front. Any suggestions are welcome. Oh and I forgot to add, if anyone has some reference photos for the IS-2 that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, Riley
Pig of the Week
What about the Hungarian uprising 1956 ?..there's lots of info and images online, numerous Soviet tanks were attacked and destroyed, there's scope for a fairly gritty diorama there...

There are many pictures online of IS-2's crossing destroyed bridges, where they have used a large amount of tree trunks to create a structure that can be driven across, just Google IS-2's, there are some very famous pictures, this would/could lead to a tall Diorama if you construct the ends of the destroyed bridge, and then fill the middle with logs, which is simply what the Russians did.
