43 Sqn. Phantoms , superb and definitely the classiest of the lot and perhaps only bettered with the original rounded fin and in the initial gloss finish with red/white/blue national markings.

That’s stunning, perfectly painted! The silver on the tail planes looks so neat too, fantastic work. I’m a bit less proud of mine now after seeing this one, it’s so much nicer.

Always nice to see a Punchy-Poulet, a Battling Bantam, a Rockin' Rooster or a Fighting Cock on the board!  Excellent work on this venerable (1989!) kit. Really nice attention to detail and finish.

That's excellent and I think it was this particular aircraft that launched a Sidewinder at St Andrews while sitting on Q in the late 1970's. (they started pointing them in a different direction after that incident).

There was a great photo in the local paper of the 'winder sticking out of the mud in the river Eden just outside Guardbridge if I remember correctly.
