JohnT
I see that some manufacturers are offering 3d printed decals for ejection seats etc. Has anyone used them and found them to be any good? My thoughts were how does a decal have the required qualities to make seat belts look realistic on an ejection seat? Do they just sit flat on the surface as a normal decal would? One example found here but I am sure there are others? https://www.hannants.co.uk/product/KW3D132020?result-token=5KrHx other manufacturers and sellers will be available so link for reference only TIA as always John
DaveH
Evening John, I've used the Quinta set for Tamiya's 48th P38. they were easy to apply, and look great, both instrumentation and belts. They are easier to apply than etch and do look better. seatbelts drape a bit better again than etch, and are easy to pose. I've bought a few more sets since, they have become my preferred choice for cockpit interiors. hope this helps.... DaveH
JohnT
I’d seen those Dave. They do look nice on the computer screen. I think I will speculate on a set and see how it goes. The kits World ones looked fairly inexpensive but not quite as nice. Still nothing ventured nothing gained. thanks John 1 hour ago, DaveH said: Evening John, I've used the Quinta set for Tamiya's 48th P38. they were easy to apply, and look great, both instrumentation and belts.
