Tamiya 1/48 Panzer III Ausf L, 10th Panzer Division, Tunisia, February 1943.

OOTB build finished with Revell Aquacolor paints, brush painted but not nearly as good as Stix does it.😄

A very enjoyable kit to build, and quick too as I don't think I have ever been first in a gallery before!

Thanks for looking.

IBG Panzer III Ausf B in 1/72nd scale - built OOB and airbrushed with Tamiya paints.

I've left it in "Parade Ground" condition in the early Grey / Brown colour scheme - The markings are yellow but have bleached somewhat in the photos.

Thanks for looking.

Pz.Kpfw III Ausf L, s.Pz.Abt 502, near Lake Ladoga, Leningrad front, 26 Sept 1942.

Tamiya 1/48 kit built entirely OOB, all painted with Vallejo paints and inks, except the exhausts which used Tamiya red-brown.

Hello everyone ... Im going to close this build out now. Im presenting my Takom StuG.III Ausf.G. It represents an early version of the type without skirts or zimmerit. The unit depicted is Sturmgeschütz-Abteilung 185. The timeframe is early 1943 eastern front  sometime from march to July.

Mar. to May 1943..... Stu.Gesch.Abt.185 transferred to the Mogilev area of the Eastern Front for a badly needed refit.
Jun. to Jul.1943..... Attached to XXIII. Armeekorps, 9. Armee, Heeresgruppe Mitte, which was serving north of Kursk, around Orel.”
As I said in my thread, I will add a crew sometime when my budget can handle it. Right now the crew has woken up after a peaceful 😉 night on the Russian steppes. Their off in the tree’s taking care of the morning business. And the vehicle is caked in dried mud from the previous days country drive through field’s and ditches.

A pair of 1/100 Panzer III's in Africa.

These have been made for wargaming, so intended to look their best at three or four feet away rather than at close inspection, much less under macro. We have one in the pre '42 colours and another in the '42 onward colours.  Build thread is here . The generic north African buildings in the background are scratchbuilt - perhaps I should have gone in the Africa GB?

Many thanks for looking, and thanks to Mr @PlaStix for running the GB.

Bronco 1/35 Panzer III Ausf.A of 1.Panzer Division, Poland 1939

OOTB build except for a Miniart track on one side (due to anger management issues!)

Mig and Vallejo acrylics, with AK and Mig weathering.

My first GB, and first attempt at weathering beyond a few vague brown splashes.

It's sat on what it was probably turned into later in the war :)

Realise now that I forgot to sag the tracks! Ah well...

it is multi colored, heavily weathered... result depends heavily on the lighting conditions... indoors probably not the best effect ;)

I was probably going to pass on this GB since my wife is the AFV fan, but while stocking up on support vehicles at Arrowhead Minatures I found they were selling off Stug III models cheap and "accidentally" ordered five...

Those heady early days of Barbarossa. Before the mud, before the snow, before the blood and dispair. All we had to worry about was the dust which got everywhere.

Our artillery battery stopped somewhere on that long dusty road to Kyiv for repairs and refuelling.

Comments and insults welcome 😉
