Farmerboy
Just a quicky, can you thin klear with water? Don’t want to commit to model if it may ruin it, looking to seal Vallejo air silver and aluminium. Edited January 30, 2021 by Farmerboy
Avgas
I used to (in an effort to make the Klear last longer). It works, but I found the finish not as smooth as undiluted and it's easier to cause runs and pooling with thinned Klear. I far prefer straight from the bottle now. Mark Harmsworth
If you are airbrushing I believe you can add a little of an ammonia based window cleaner (Windowlene works - the clear blue stuff) - I understand that helps the flow. However I tend to apply it undiluted using a wide flat brush and then clean the brush using Windowlene. Applying by brush works fine. Don't overload the brush and if there is any pooling use a corner of some kitchen towel to soak it up. And I don't need to clean the airbrush 😉 Mark
