A superb build indeed. I will be having a good read through your WIP pages. Normally do aircraft, but fancy doing this, have no idea about how to weather it, specially the wheels and tracks etc.

Thank you.

Generally the Berlin Brigades vehicles were kept very clean and would have the paint work touched up regularly. They did however go out on exercises and to visit the firing ranges where they did get dirty and dusty which is what I tried to depict.

I use a combination of oils, paints, washes and pigments to do my weathering but I doubt I went into great detail as to how I apply each in the WIP. If you need any advice during your build feel free to ask.

It's a time consuming camouflage to apply but very rewarding.

Beautifully executed sir!

You've done a awesome job with the Urban Cammo and weathering! 🤞

I have a Haya 1/16 R/C Chieftain and hope to to have it turn out half as nice as yours.

Tremendous work there and equally good photography! It deserves all the plaudits it’s received, well done and welcome back to (hopefully) good health.

Thank you all very much. Your comments are really appreciated.

I bet that's a bit of a beast Barry. I would like to see that when you get round to building it.

After a nasty bout of Covid I have finally managed to find the energy to get this one finished and photographed.

This is the excellent Takom kit with just a few additional details. It was painted with the Ammo Mig Berlin brigade paint set and weathered with pigments and oils.

A WIP can be found here. I would also like to thank John @Bullbasket for the very helpful photos and Dan @Dads203, Ivan @ivan-o and @Scimitar F1 for sharing their knowledge.

Not wishing to bore you all with an overload of photos but a couple more with a grey back ground.

Hopefully that isn't too many photos but the different backgrounds do seem to bring out different details.

All I have to do now is decide what to start next.

Hello Wayne

Absolutely super build and painting 👍

The many details show how much work you have done and it was worth it!
I really like the colours and camouflage scheme - something different for a change.

It's hard not to overdo the weathering on a model like this, but you got a good balance.
