Peter Browne
I'm modeling the Dragon 1/35 Sd.Kfz 251/17 Ausf.C and have added the front underside suspension armour which is optional. Normally, without that additional armour, the end of the front suspension wishbone goes into a cavity under the vehicle hull. In the instructions, the end of that wishbone is attached to surface of that additional armour. Does anyone have a photo reference of this on a real Sd.Kfz 251? Tigerausfb
Does this help? In reality it bolts to the rear engine cross member which is a sort of I beam shape. Andrew Additional photo....thousand words and all that but you can see how it's attached at the rear.
