Creepy Pete
A friend of mine, @KoenL, found a cool set of P-47 photo's on FB, and on some of these P-47D's there is a bulge just below the windscreen that I don't remember seeing before. I'm tempted to think it is a rear view mirror. Anyone here have an idea? https://scontent-amt2-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/138779918_420194889249341_4940558484647455941_o.jpg?_nc_cat=109&ccb=2&_nc_sid=b9115d&_nc_ohc=bnRiS-AfLf0AX8PWpZV&_nc_ht=scontent-amt2-1.xx&oh=f9ff04f9e00e41ff8b0504abe6fdaddb&oe=602A2E9E https://scontent-amt2-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/138730199_420194459249384_518118660216035011_o.jpg?_nc_cat=109&ccb=2&_nc_sid=b9115d&_nc_ohc=H8xIy-sCvzUAX8FAKPn&_nc_ht=scontent-amt2-1.xx&oh=8985ed5166edcd7c6058ee92348cc966&oe=60282C29 Thanks!

72modeler
Yes, those are rear-view mirrors; they are frequently seen on razorback Jugs. Mike
