JOCKNEY
Caudron - Renault C635 "Simoun" Another one from the current Heller Classic GB. If I had to pick one kit that would be instantly recognisable as Heller, this is the one I would choose. This particular aircraft is the C635 with which Doret and Micheletti attempted the Paris-Tokyo journey in January 1937 in less than 100 hours. This attempt came very close but ultimately failed due to difficult weather conditions. Historically the colour might not be correct, but this was the way Heller intended it so, that's good enough for me ! It definitely the loudest model I've ever made. Work in progress below Here it is finished, I hope you like it. Let me know what you think. cheers Pat
JWM
Pat, very good result! The shining surface of civil machine (and yellow base) are demanding, but you survived! Regards J-W
Rabbit Leader
Congratulations on a very fine build Pat. She’s turned out lovely and would have to be a cabinet stand-out. Cheers and well modelled.. Dave
bigbadbadge
Certainly is bright and lovely, great work and some memories of my early teenage years come flooding back of visiting the shop round the corner with loads of Heller and Esci kits and spending my hard earned paper round money. Thanks Chris

First go with a rattle spray can since I was a teenager, delighted some of the paint also stuck to the model ! Cheers Pat
MDriskill
Nice work! Looks great. I agree this is a sort of "ultimate Heller kit," one of the first you think of for that classic brand.

jean
Hi Pat, I love this Caudron! I hope Mrs. Jockney enjoys her yellow kitchen as much!!! A rattle can for yellow is the only sane way. Glad you went that route. You did a grand job and the model looks smashing. Congrats are in order! JR.

Dave Thanks very much Dave I completely agree, the colour scheme is really striking and a nice change from all that camouflage.
