Airfix 1/72 Tomahawk II colour conundrum

Hello folks.

 

I have the Tomahawk kit depicting Neville Duke’s machine AK402 when with 112 Sqn Egypt. The paint pots that came with the kit are 29 Dark Earth 93 Mid Stone and 157 Azure Blue. 
 

Now then as a reference I have the On Target Special “Britain Alone” by John Freeman and Neil Robinson. It shows the same machine. Upper surface colour call outs are the same. However the underside is given as the Du Pont Sky Grey. I don’t intend to start a bunfight (Apple wrote nun fight......) as to the Du Pont thing. However is it possible that the kit instructions and the book are right and that AK402 is shown by both at different times and that I could pick either?
