Dansk
Here is my 1/32 Tamiya P-51D ‘Jasper Joker II’ which I completed in the current KUTA group build. It is OOB, but the stars and bars and codes are airbrushed from a Montex stencil set. All errors are down to yours truly not the kit, the kit is wonderful. I hope you like it. Andy Dyck
Very impressive! Good to see the difference between silver painted wings and NMF fuselage! May I ask wich colors you used? kind regards Andy
billn53
I was looking at your yellow areas and the subtle weathering & panel variations you achieved there. I would think yellow would be a difficult color to weather, without it looking overdone. What was your technique?

What was your technique? here’s the WIP Fellas, The silver is AK xtreme metal aluminium, with the wings in a matt black base and the fuselage in a gloss black base. The Yellow was a Mr Color Acrylic if I remember correctly. The yellow I chipped with a metallic pencil but the panels I dont think I pre-shaded them. and thanks for the kind comments everyone that’s genuinely appreciated 🙏👍☺️

Interesting to see how the same color turns out with different bases.
