Roman Schilhart
Dear fellow Britmodellers, my first completed AFV in 2021 is the 1/72 Special Hobby Marder II. This kit was originally released under the 'MK72' label in 2011. It's a highly detailled quality tooling, on par with the latest Revell releases. Coincidentially, other versions based on this chassis (StuH Grille & Marder III) will be released by Revell Germany, according to their news announcement. I especially liked the one-piece tracks that simply wrap around the drive sprocket, as link'n'length tracks in 72 scale frequently cause me problems. I painted with Gunze/Mr.Hobby acrylics, washed with artist oils and dusted the model with Tamiya pigments. The model represents a vehicle operating in the Lake Balaton area, Hungary, March 1945. All photographs by Wolfgang Rabel. Thank you for your interest, best greetings from Vienna! Roman

Bullbasket
Another one up to your normal standards Roman. Great job. It's not until you see the photo of it in your hand that you realise how small it is. John.

Luis Alfonso
Hi My Friend Roman!!! Congratulations for this last beauty added to your armor collection!!! I am not a big fan of the armor subjects but watching your work has been making me think about something... but maybe one of these days will try again my hand in one subject, but will prefer a wheel vehicle than a tracked one… The nice way you have built this small armor kit is clean and joyful, the soft weathering technique is great. Really I admire your job with such small items. Thank you very much for sharing!!! Cheers, Luis Alfonso

fpmeyer
Despite the small scale, the Sir, managed to make a fantastic camouflage painting. Very beautiful and pleasant to see. Congratulations! Best.
