Hamden
I'll take a socially distanced seat if I may, have a soft spot for the M113 having driven the Bovington Tank Museum's example. Stay safe Roger
Bullbasket
Me too. I have a hankering to do an IDF version, so I'll be interested to see how you get on. I'm assuming that the base kit is the Tamiya one? John.
ivan-o
Thanks guys you are welcome😀 John it is the Academy kit. Just a start today, sandbag floor in and a bit of track to see how they go together (a bit brittle) other than that as instructed. Cheers, Ivan

ivan-o
Oh dear🤔 After a couple of hours trying to sort these Masterclub tracks I have admitted defeat😟they are SO fragile. I really can’t say these are any good at all after having no trouble with my 432 tracks these are a massive disappointment! Update DO NOT buy these tracks for the Academy kit they don’t fit the drive sprockets😡 cheers Ivan 1
ivan-o
Hi guys, Just a bit more of the basics, the personnel seats in the back are going to get some cushions on when dry. This is a nice kit to work on and is a step up from Tamiya’s offering. Ivan
GMK
Nice work, Ivan. Quick one - if you’re putting the T50 turret on, in place of the cupola, the post for the commander’s seat isn’t present. Looking forward to seeing this project unfold.

Thanks GMK, I have got the set for an earlier version so the turret won’t be used. Ivan
ivan-o
Hi, Seat cushions added, made from green stuff first timeI have used it. Had a look at the tracks and IF I can get two track runs together and widen the drive sprockets a bit they should work. cheers Ivan
Hamden
Sorry to hear of your track problems, I'm sure you will overcome! Good progress so far Stay safe Roger
ivan-o
Thanks Roger, These tracks are made for the AFV kit apparently,so will not fit Academy,Tamiya or the Italerie kits! However if I fit a spacer in the drive sprockets to widen them it should work! Every link needs to be filed to fit without any pressure in the join or else they WILL break. Just shows I should have read some of the reviews and done a bit of research before getting them. Hay Ho Ivan

Dads203
Looking good Ivan, the Academy kit it a bit better than the old Tamiya one that I built. Quite fancy doing a Vietnam version one day.

ivan-o
Hi guys, A small update today. All Aussie 113’s had a foam roof installed, here is my attempt using green stuff to replicate it. I think it works😀 cheers Ivan
ivan-o
Well after a six week wait the fuel tank has arrived at last! New one is on the left. Test fit looks ok, If you order something from these people be aware that although they give a London address the stuff actually comes from the Czech Republic🤔 Ivan
ivan-o
Hi guys New tank fitted, painting and weathering done,to all intents and purposes this is the interior done, a bit more work is required on the roof to get it to fit, some more track bashing and then I should be ok to move on to the Callsign conversion set.😀 cheers Ivan
diablo rsv
Nice work on the interior Ivan, looks very authentic. Wayne

Bullbasket
Nice work Ivan. The very thought of sitting on those seats, alongside the fuel tank, waiting for an RPG to hit, turns my bowels to liquid. John.
