Airfix 1/72 AV-8A Harrier USMC

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

This is another one of my recent completion, an Airfix AV-8A Harrier in lo-viz markings for VMAT-203.  The finish is a combination of Humbrol and Model Master enamels, and the decals are from Caracal. Extras include a brass pitot tube and rocket pods from a Hasegawa weapons set.  Thanks for looking!

Cheers,

Albert

Excellent paint job. It is also nice that you added the LAU-10 rocket pods. 👍 In comparison to its successor the AV-8B the first generation Harriers had only a relatively brief service history in the USMC. The last AV-8As that served with VMAT-203 were phased out in 1985.
