Regarding the Dark Earth, if it was lighter it would look OK, if it was darker it would look OK, just as the Dark Green can vary in 'Greeness' and 'Grayness' it all depends on the colour variation supplied, who thinned the paint and applied it. Just my opinion, I never obsess over such things, life's to short!

It's a really nice kit and I did think I'd maybe do the Night fighter version. I wanted to do a 'test' RAF scheme for some models I'm planning. But all in all it turned out as a quite pleasing result.  Back to the atamiya 1:48 Mosquito I'm doing at the moment! Cheers, Andy
