fightersweep
Hi all; Quick decal related question. I was using a Kora decal sheet for my Arado Ar-196 today and had a bit of a silly accident, and it's not something I've ever done before. I was halfway through using the decals and was cutting out the next decal when the remaining sheet sort of flicked off and ended up in my water bowl. No idea how that happened! Of course, I whipped the decal sheet out of the water asap, but it had still managed to soak through. By the way, the Kora sheet is printed on a one piece transfer and each decal needs cut out individually. So my question is: if I let the decal sheet dry out, will it still be usable, or is it a case of just buy another? Genuine question as I've never had this happen before. TIA! Black Knight
Generally, yes, let it dry, then proceed as normal Most often it all works out fine
fightersweep
Thanks! I'll give that a try. It's not something I've had to resort to before. Don't think I've ever had a whole sheet of decals end up in the water bowl before! Steve
stevehnz
If the dunking has ruined the stickability of the decals, bedding them in a puddle of Klear will help to stick them down, pinned in in this forum. Steve.
