New OV10A Bronco from ICM , 1/48 scale, news from the 2021 program

gioca

Recommended Posts

I read on Hannants ICM News program:  Vietnam USAF Airfield (Cessna O-2A, OV-10А Bronco, US Pilots & Ground Personnel (Vietnam War) (5 figures) Diorama Set NEW - IV quarter

So a new OV10A in 1/48 is planned for the end of the year 2021.

Logical deduction.

ICM has announced new 1/48th Vietnam era US pilots and ground personnel figures to put alongside O-2A Skymaster and OV-10A Bronco kits. The fact is that ICM has already some 1/48th O-2 boxings in its catalogue but no North American OV-10A Bronco... yet - QED (quod erat demonstrandum).

To be followed

Bye bye HazMAT, Hello ICM, you guys rock 🥳 !

I have KH's 1/32 Bronco, a splendid kit albeit a bit too large for me. That release from ICM will be perfectly sized for me, and the expectation of these petite recessed details and exquisite moulding that are ICM's trademark already makes me drool !

I hope they eventually do a OV-10B(Z) as well:

I don't know their business plan, but I think it'll be highly unlikely... a good conversion for someone to bring out though.

Ah - thanks for that! I'll check whether Greg has any plans to scale them up ...

While you are at it check if he will update the scheme to the one we saw last August...it differs from his current sheet...
