George72 1,082 Posted January 4 Share Posted January 4 (edited) Hello! This is my first finished project this year, the very well known and praised Tamiya P-47 1/48 kit. Nothing to add, really, a superb kit. Only some small stencils did not behave well and…disintegrated. C’est la vie! Since these especific birds didn’t operate for too long, war ending in Europe was months away, I kept the weathering at a minimum, just some dirt from the airfields, but not too many scratches and chipping… Canopy masks from Eduard, guns from Model Masters and seat belts from scratch.
