Jeddahbill
Greetings! Just completed Pan Am Boeing ESS-1B designed for rapid global and low earth orbit VIP travel. Starting with the Amtronic concept car kit, I glued all of the body parts and sealed everything up to get a sleek appearance and then carefully grafted on a pair of wings from the Moebius Space Clipper kit. Added simple scratch built landing skids and some enhancements to the interior while leaving out many of the Amtronic kit parts. Various decals from the spares bin. I have to use a small shim to keep the cockpit windscreen in the open position. Passenger doors are very tight fit and the windows placement is fragile, so opening and closing the passenger doors is avoided. Many thanks for having a look - questions and comments always welcome! Cheers, Bill Edited January 4, 2021 by Jeddahbill
Carts
Looks like an outake from "2001",and I mean that in a "Bloody hell, that looks great" way👍
Pete in Lincs
I was thinking Buck Rogers in the 21st Century. Very smart indeed.
Jeddahbill
Thanks for the comments! Big influence from 2001: A Space Odyssey on this build, especially with the grafted wings from the Space Clipper kit. Bill

Bandsaw Steve
Nice. I always like a bit of ‘freelance’ modelling. I didn’t realise George Jetson worked for Pan-Am. 🤪 1
