RCAF Ventura Target Tug, Ford Flivver and Vampire now Finished.

Loving the Ventura, but I think I am enjoying the Pawnee more now LOL

Always loved the Pawnee and have often thought of converting the Revell Piper Super Cub.  Well use lots of the parts from it.  Gotta push through the Phantom first, then an easy build for sanity before I think of a silly conversion idea like that.

Love your updates, keep it up!

Thanks Anthony,  the Pawnee  is a lovely kit and I am really enjoying it too.  Once I have painted on the yellow,  yes more yellow!!! I will then be able to add the wings.

Interesting a 32nd scale Pawnee using the cub parts, wow, that would be great and does make sense to use that kit for donor parts, that will be a fantastic build. I'm in.

I don't blame you wanting a simple build after the gorgeous Phantom build.

Thanks Roger, yes very pleased with them, the stripe decals were slightly resistant to sticking down so I went with diluted klear  that sorted them.

There are some unusual looking Venturas in this thread! They do look good though!

Ha ha yes , guilty,  I needed a distraction build or two to retain a high Mojo level. Thanks Ed. Will get the interior started very soon

Thanks guys

I can't keep up, everything I log in to this thread there's a new start been added!  All looking good 🙂

Thanks Mark, I know I am a bit chaotic at the moment,  I have the others on the go for Mojo reasons.

That Pawnee looks very sharp!

Nice going on the Ventura too. I’ve used Humbrol 93 (sand) as an undercoat for yellow on a Novo Oxford - I think it saved me a coat or two!

Regards,

Adrian

Thanks Adrian and thanks for the tip, I had neverconsidered the sand colour and tgat makes perfect sense. I will try that on the fuselage.

Hi all

Bit more progress, wings on the Pawnee,  I had to shorten the struts but a bit to get the right dihedral and then I have scratch build the small v struts and strut framework at their ends fron scrap plastic and brass rod. Undercarriage struts added.
