Magnificent canopy work Chris and in full yellow now looking absolutely eye-some already. :clap2:

Thanks Tony,  I am seeing yellow everywhere now, still got the Anson in yellow to do too.

That's going to be spectacular!  How are you doing the underwing serial numbers? Decals or masking?

Thanks T-D, this one has no underwing Serials  and I only have the roundels, the fuselage Serials and fuel tank ports and prop warnings and makers stickers.  So decalling will be done in about an hour hopefully.

Hi all for Roger this time,

I made a bit of a boo boo other front stripe so sanded back the stb side of it and touched in the yellow

This has just been painted and the masking removed and it's still wet.

Now there is a slight discrepancy with the port side so will do that tomorrow

Below are the smooth wheel hubs I made out of three discs of very thin plasticard laminated together and smoothed off around the edges.  I am not sure if the style is correct but cannot get a close enough image to confirm so will have to do.

Oh and with the hubs is my cockpit framing for my Flycatcher made from brass tube soldered and glued

If you did, thanks for looking.

Chris,

That's some impressive soldering work - not a skill I've ever mastered,

Thanks Roger, it was a bit fiddly but the file is your friend when doing this.  Just got to build up the seat mounts, and Rudder pedal mounts etc, should be fun!!!

Yes not to far to go.  I am nervous now as I don't want to stuff it up.  I really want to get the wings on now. I may see later on if I can.

Thanks for your support and encouragement fella.

This is a superb looking Ventura, Chris. Love everything about it ‼️😍

Thanks Rob , it is a bit bright.  I must admit I just keep staring at it on the bench thinking it looks lovely.

Although I will admit I have tried to space out the stripes correctly, I think I may have cocked up a bit but, I am not rubbing it all off now. If I did that I think the men in the white coats will have to come and take me away!!!

Thanks both

Chris

Very nice, quite a difficult scheme to get right. I’d imagine.

Thanks guys, yes it is a bit of a so and so.I have had to correct a couple of areas that I wasn't happy with and it is still not quite right, but I want it finished now.
