ROBOT
Hello and happy new year 🎉✨🤗 ... Since I was waiting for the MILLIPUT to dry on my 727 I started a new kit while I was motivated and inspired, thanks to you guys👍 I love Fokker airliners so I just had to have the F 28 from FRSIN, 1/144, injected plastic! The surfaces are VERY rough, I tried to capture this in the pictures so that everybody can judge for themselves if a FRSIN or Mach 2 kit might be something to consider in the future... ROBOT
.... And after about 45 mins with a fresh new sanding stick and a sharp scalpel blade I had the main parts cleaned and roughly sanded. OK. THE PARTS COUNT IS VERY LOW 😅 Still pretty rough but much much better already Let's have a look..... http:// Olli
Vesa Jussila
These are not too often seen. So I need to follow this.
dnl42
This will be good to follow as I have an F-RSIN Comet 1 in the stash. But dang, it looks like the surface needs a Mr Surfacer skim coat!
Roger Holden
Yes; Mach 2 moulds the F-RSIN kits and the 2 usually share the same stand at the Telford model show....
Robin-42
Looking forward to this, I spent several years flying the F28. Fun, manoeuvrable and tough, the speed brakes on the tail generated lots of drag and no vibration. We could slow down and go down, most airliners struggle with this. The designers decided that the crew should not have to share the thrust levers. So there were two.

If only that was all that is needed. Good luck with this one Olli.. At least the decals look okay. Chris.
Orion
Hello ROBOT, As mentioned above, not seen this airplane before. I know for sure, this will come out perfectly. The F-28 is still going strong worldwide as we speak. Regards, Orion / The Netherlands.
ROBOT
Small progress. Glued the few parts together and filled some seams... Let the filling-sanding-priming begin.... http:// Thanks for watching, stay safe and keep on modeling, olli
chrispisme
Good progress! Well done. Will be nice to see it come together when I worked at the local airport here there were about 20 F 28’s next door for many years, the last few years there’s been a loader and digger destroying them all (“Canadian Regional” surplus I guess) I doubt any of them were still airworthy by their appearance. pulling up a chair for the build.
