The Great Escape
Hi all, This is my first ever post on here so please go easy on me... I’m new to modelling and have recently been exploring ways to display dioramas, scenes and vignettes. When I first started out in this hobby I cut my teeth on lots of those cheap tamiya figure sets. They weren’t particularly good but helped me develop painting skills in a relatively cheap way. I had lots of painted figures just laying around. So recently I’ve been playing around with different ways to display them. After Christmas I had lots of candle jars hanging around and some left over baubles from a project unrelated to models. The builds and painting isn’t particularly good but I thought I’d share how I’ve been displaying some models: No - the baubles weren’t hung on my Christmas tree! Hope I’ve posted this in the correct place.
Pete in Lincs
You'd probably have been better in 'Ready for Inspection', but hey, displays this good are welcome everywhere! They certainly beat the heck out of ships in bottles. I knew old candle jars had a better use than holding paintbrushes! Novel and very nice indeed.
