Ales CZ Posted January 1, 2021 Posted January 1, 2021 Happy New Year everyone! This Eduard's Spitfire mk.VIII is the last model I finished in 2020. Hope you like it. Regards, Ales 52
bigbadbadge Posted January 1, 2021 Posted January 1, 2021 Oh wow this is lovely, I love the paint and weathering finish you've achieved. Great work. Happy New Year Chris
112 Squadron Posted January 1, 2021 Posted January 1, 2021 A wonderful Aussie Mk VIII and a nice tribute to Clive Caldwell! The weathering is outstanding. I love the foliage green paint scheme! 😍 1
Sky Keg Posted January 1, 2021 Posted January 1, 2021 Beautiful!!!! You replicated the complex red stripes on the white spinner to perfection along with the overall finish. Weathering is first rate. It`s a beauty!!!!! 😍 Mike
wellsprop Posted January 2, 2021 Posted January 2, 2021 Beautiful work on the paint and weathering, really high quality build
Jeff G Posted January 2, 2021 Posted January 2, 2021 Sweet Spit! An excellent choice of paint colours.
Learstang Posted January 2, 2021 Posted January 2, 2021 Beautiful Spitfire! And the very scheme I wish to do my Mk.VIII in. Nice to know the scheme looks this good on a completed model. What did you use for the colours? Regards, Jason
Dennis_C Posted January 2, 2021 Posted January 2, 2021 Great looking Spit! Weathering effects are all very well done!

Broadway Posted January 4, 2021 Posted January 4, 2021 Looks great, the order CRC code on the model confused me at first as it was superficially the same as the one on the box art until I realised it was a ddifferent aircraft.
tonyot Posted January 4, 2021 Posted January 4, 2021 Looks lovely,.... a really nice Spit. My only `quibble' would be the size of the yellow propeller tips,..... just reduce those a touch (check out photos of the real aircraft) and this would be an even more amazing model, Cheers Tony
Bangor Lad Posted January 4, 2021 Posted January 4, 2021 Great build an superb finish. Single-colour schemes are always difficult to get right but you have done a brilliant job.
Natter Posted January 4, 2021 Posted January 4, 2021 There are lots and lots of reasons to like that model; a great build and a great paint job being just two of them.
Darth Vader Posted January 4, 2021 Posted January 4, 2021 That really is a thing of beauty, stunning job
Team Aer Lingus Posted January 5, 2021 Posted January 5, 2021 Looks beautiful in that green very well done thanks for sharing regards Eamonn
