Alpha Delta 210
Dear all Contrary to what I said in my RIAT 2005 thread, 2004 was in fact my first year with a digital SLR - a Nikon D70! Maybe I could only afford one CF card, or I was still using film techniques, but I didn't take many shots! Anyway, I hope you enjoy some of these golden oldies! Thanks for looking! 16
canberraman
What a good year 2004 was. After a while each RIAT seems to fade into the next but the RIAT 50 book you mentioned earlier also helps remind of the best that each event had to offer. I particularly like the blue SHAR, the Boeing test pilot displayed F18 and the F117. Lovely stuff - keep 'em coming! Mark 2

The fleet Super Hornet displayed by the Boeing test pilot was my favourite display (and my favourite shot!)

I remember RIAT 2004 as being one of the great shows, with participation from many of the great Cold War warriors which have slowly left service, aside from the mighty B-52 of course! Robert
Those pictures of the Jaguar and Tornadoes would make great box top art for forthcoming kits (hopefully). Regards Robert

112 Squadron
Thanks for sharing these pictures. Athough 2004 seems not be so long ago many of these planes have already become a part of military aviation history and are no longer in active service.

We take certain types for granted and in a flash, they are gone....
