Sorry, I've fallen behind in my reporting.

Monday afternoon; a nice wee Polski built Fiat 126, all black with plain white alloy wheels, left hooker

Also Monday afternoon, a 2 year old (approx) Mercedes S-class on our M.1. Nowt special about it really expect it was on fire. We tried to put the fire out but it became too much, by the time Fire Brigade arrived it was a gonner

Coming back from work, not particularly interesting but a while since I've seen one - a late '90s Renault Megane convertible.

And about 5 cars behind, and much more interesting, an A-reg Sierra XR4i in special cropped-down-dashcam quality photo:

Yesterday as I exited the local mall car park a Chrysler Crossfire was dithering about as it turned across my bows. Not one I've seen for a bit, they were never common but I did like the look of them, & still do.

MkII XR2 in white, looked gorgeous,Bedford HA van an MGB V8 and an original shape Mini Rally replica...It'll be the Classic Car Clubs show soon i'll have to see if i can get a few photo',it was posponed from last month because of the amount of rain that had drenched Saumarez Park it would have turned it into a mudbath....

Add a mid 70's XJ6 to the list....

A Routemaster and according to the destination board on the back it’s the 15 to Trafalgar Square. Thing is it went past my front window and I live in Wirral……..

That's going to be a hell of a return fare....!!

K

It came back the other way about half an hour later. The front was festooned with white ribbon and people inside dressed up as if they were going to a wedding!

Mimd you, a few years ago I went to a wedding in a single deck vintage Crosville bus (I think it was a Bristol of some description - definitely not an RE, but maybe something of slightly earlier vintage). There was even a ‘clippy’ on board handing out tickets from one of those old fashioned winding type ticket machines.

The looks we got going from Birkenhead to Neston 😆

At about 1:30pm today approaching the Holdingham Roundabout on the A17, travelling east, a proper Ford GT40, E reg, white with broad red stripe!   First I've seen on the road.

@Six97s will recognise the location ;)

Spotted at the supermarket whilst picking up a few bits and pieces.  I've not seen a DeLorean in the wild either ever or at least for a long time, it really shows how low it is (or how tall contemporary cars are).

I wasn't going to mention the Ford Escort Mk.2 RS2000 and Mk.3 XR3 (or XR3i) that drove past the end of my road this morning (both looking very clean), but since I have your attention, I thought I might as well ;)

@johnlambert How did the DeLorien cope with parking and more to the point was the driver able to get in and out 🤣

Trevor

They parked next to one car and one open space but the car was on the (left-hand) driver's space and he got out without any obvious issues.

Indeed, though I never saw anything interesting there.   it looks tiny in that photo, almost like a smaller scale vehicle.

Yes, this is what happens when you have one 1:25 model in a line-up of 1:24 vehicles 🤣

And I'm wondering how the GT40 seen by @klubman01 coped with the roadworks on Holdingham roundabout without grounding!

With extreme difficulty, I imagine!  It was also stuck in the usual queue of traffic leading to the roundabout, so I imagine it was starting to run rather hot.

Apparently there was a wedding in the church at the top of the road. And for those of you that know Parkgate it went down there too. Interesting trying to squeeze down the road at the front

Yesterday, while out on a family trip out:

A silver Lancia Fulvia, bonnet up unfortunately, otherwise immaculate,

A rather tidy chrome bumper MGB with hard top on,

A dark green (E-reg, I think) 911,

An A-Reg (post-fix) Mini in silver with extended wheel-arches),

and last, but not least, a Volvo 'Amazon' in red with, of all things a prancing horse in the wings. It has minilite alloys as far as I could tell.

Sorry, no pictures, forgot to get my phone out...

Cheers,

Alan.

That 'Prancing Horse' is a 'Prancing Moose'

I had those badges on my S80.
