Happy New Year fellow Britmodellers, I hope everyone is doing well in this trying year.

I managed to complete a few models this year, and also added many, many false starts - sorry for so many WIP's that just end, my mojo was even more fickle than usual this year.

First up is a gift from the generous @rob85, a 1/72 Airfix P-51D with Revell 'Cookie' nose art.

And finally, one of the several false starts from this year: a 1/72 Airfix P-51D with the upper fuselage of a Revell P-51B/C. Despite never completing this one, it may have been my most successful build ever, as I choose to believe that it was one more straw on the camel's back, and the universe (by way of Arma Hobby) is bringing us a 1/72 P-51B/C/Mustang III in 2021. Things are looking up already!

Hi Cookie. I hope you are keeping well. It's been an 'odd' year in many ways, so getting four beautiful models across the finish line is a fine achievement. I'm always impressed by the very realistic weathering you achieve.

I hope you have a Very Happy New Year.

Kind regards,

Stix

What a lovely set of models, Cookie! :worthy:  They are all beautifully done and tastefully weathered, I can't really pic one over the others, although probably the Dauntless and the Corsair have that slight edge :)

Happy New Year to you too! Time to build some jets now, don't you think? :D

Ciao

Happy New Year, Cookie. The production rate may have been lower than usual, but they are all great looking models buddy. I really like your Dauntless, it's nicely painted and the light weathering adds to the look.

I hope that the mojo returns soon and then we can see more top quality builds from the 'Cookie Factory' in 2021. Keep your chin up mate.
