Roman Schilhart
Parts look very crispy! Metal seatbelts are a great addition. I would have prefered yellow kabuki masks over the vinyl ones.

72modeler
On 10/11/2021 at 12:07 PM, Denford said: Could somebody with a good knowledge of P-51s say if there is an Alison-engined variant that has the wings of the B/C ? The A-36 Invader and the P-51A both have the same four .50cal wing guns, so you could use the wing from the Arma kit when it comes out; the landing lights were not the same. (You would have to add the dive brakes if building an A-36.) All of the Allison Mustangs had the same wing and landing gear, but the landing lights, armament, and radiator inlets/outlets aren't the same for all of them. The Valiant Wings Airframe in Miniature on the early Mustangs would be an excellent reference to see all the detail differences between all the variants. I'd advise caution on that recommendation - they don't spot the difference in fuselage depth between the Allison engined and Merlin engined variants for a start. The photo's and technical manual extracts are good, but any scale drawings and isometric drawings or descriptions purporting to show differences between variants need to be verified for errors and omissions

I have removed the incorrect statement in my original post- thanks for letting me know, Dave. I apologize for the misinformation. If I have any Mustang-related questions, I always go to the P-51 SIG and ask the experts. Mike
