Ghost69
Hello My dad made this model a few months ago. He loves this brand and we offer it to him regularly. This locomotive is one of his favourites. I don't know if you know this brand, but the quality is excellent, the precision of the parts is perfect...You'll see, it's remarkable at the mechanism level (bravo to the people who design this). cmatthewbacon
I think these things are great... I built the “Morgan” for my Mum last year. Be generous with the candle wax “lubricant”, and if you feel up to it, if there are any driveshafts made of single or X section flat pieces, they might be replaced with dowel. The torque from the twisted rubber band motor is pretty high, and the reaction through the drive train is powerful. best, M.
kpnuts
The quality does seem great( I've noticed several other makes have popped up now)not sure of those but in some cases they are considerably dearer.
Toftdale
Hi, I built their grand prix racer last year. The only thing I can add is that I found the elastic bands supplied with my kit were very sensitive to UV and the ones on the tyres and front suspension failed in a matter of weeks after sitting on my window sill. Mark_1984
Neat! I tried their timer which I couldn’t get to work. Probably my fault. Also built their safe, which works a treat. I have the loco in the stash for when I feel like a break from scale models.
