Reini78
#28/2020 and the last one for this year Eduard kit, upper wing and fuselage Balkenkreuz decals taken from a Fw190 kit because Erla G-10 had smaller ones, besides that the ones on the upper wings were in a slightly more outward position. Brake lines done with plastic rods and lead wire, EZ Line for the antenna wire. My dad didn´t adress the other kit issues. Eduard goes for RLM 75/82 camo but usually Erla G-10 had the standard 74/75 until the end. AK Real Color paints used for 74/75/76. JaPo, Kagero und Ullmann´s book used as reference. VolkerR.
Great result, as always. But what happened to the antenna wire? Or is it sagging on purpose?

Or is it sagging on purpose? thanks! Is on purpose. When the mast was mounted on the Erla canopy, the antenna wire was connected with the canopy locking system and was only tensioned when the pilot locked the canopy. https://ww2aircraft.net/forum/threads/bf-109g-14-antenna-wire.50012/ 1

Spitfire31
Excellent build and finish! But I shudder when I see naked fingers holding a model like that. In a couple of years, your fingerprints will be etched into the finish, too… 😉 Kind regards, Joachim
