Big Dave S
...or is he early C13? Pegaso miniatures, 54mm. Marketed as waving a flag but my experience of those is they're very hard to stick in place and tend to droop. So he got the sword option instead. Had done a Hospitaller already, so I went for the Earl of Cornwall. Not my best shield effort. Design based on medieval floor tiles from a cathedral whose name escapes me right now. (Ever the keen student of history...) Edited December 29, 2020 by Big Dave S
Big Dave S
Armour... I was discussing The Royal Armouries at Leeds with a colleague last week, who looked sideways at me when I tried to explain my deep love of armour, its design, history & construction. Didn't go well. Grey Beema
Nice modelling, well done. Interested in Armour myself. It is noticeable as skills and knowledge increased how thickness and strength of armour could be achieved with little gain in weight.
